A variety of cultural programs
arranged on the eve of International Mother Languages Day 21st
February 2010 by the Hazaragi Academy, this very handsome and
colorful program was arranged in the beautiful auditorium of
Khadija Mehmoodi Hall Tanzeem Nasle Nau Hazara Mughal, where a
great number of people participated in the event. Sardar Nisar
Ali Khan Hazara was honored as the Chief Guest of the occasion.
This auspicious and particular
program was divided into three parts. The first part of the
program was a Seminar in which Manzoor Poya, Jalal Ohadi and
Mubarak Sabir delivered their articles.
In the second session of the program
a “Mehfil Qasta Goee” (Hazaragi Poetry) was conducted. Many
famous and popular Hazara poets took part in this session
particularly Yaseen Zameer, Javed Hussain Nadan, Kazim Maeel,
Jawad Nava, Mustafa Shahid, Ali Baba Taj, Liaqat Ali Aajiz,
Mohsin Changazi, Mubarak Sabir and Syed Jawad Musavi looted the
audience with their sweet Hazara Poetry.
The first session was fixed for
Seminar on Hazaragi Language. Renowned scholars portrayed their
views on the various aspects, historical characteristics and
cultural importance of Hazaragi Language.
Manzoor Poya, an active
member of Academy said that UNESCO has declared 21st
February as the Day of Mother Languages through out the globe.
He elaborated the effects of neighboring languages on Hazaragi
Language in detail. He said that there is complete potential in
Hazaragi to coup with needs of our people.
Jalal Ohadi a famous
poet, said that though Hazaragi Language has remained historical
under the influence of Darri and Persian but still Hazaras have
saved their mother language with thousands of its proverbs and
idioms etc. He stressed that our intellectuals ought to come
forward and participate in making the rules and regulations for
this newly established language.
Mubarak Sabir, General
Secretary Hazaragi Academy, congratulated and welcomed the
audience saying that Hazaragi is a very rich language besides
its weaknesses. Academy has started its efforts to layout the
foundations for progress slowly and smoothly.
Mirza Azad, President
Hazaragi Academy, warmly greeted the audience and expressed
briefly his views on the importance of Mother Language in
nation’s life. He was with the view that languages are to be the
strongest pillar of one’s identity. It is not changed even when
a person changes his religion. He also put light on the
activities of Hazaragi Academy as the Academy has been
publishing five monthly magazines since last many years
regularly.
The last session of the
program was based on Hazaragi Cultural and Musical Program.
Ustad Ghazanfar Ali, Asad Sarkhosh, Ramzan Farhad and Ali
Zargham performed purely in Hazaragi Language. The musical
session was also consisting of two parts, the Harmonium,
Keyboard and Tabla Session and the Hazaragi Dambura. All the
singers performed the best and achieved the greetings of
audience for long time. Participants kept stressing for
continuing the program even for many more hours, but the
management side ended this remembering even with a national song
of Asad Sarkhosh on Baba Mazari. |
